This multi-generational, 2 story home is based off the conecpt of eternity. The physical symbol for eternity is the infinity sign. This was the foundation of the design. Like an infinity symbol, a family home should be the ground of flow, connectivity and be a eternal enclosure. The client was the Frangipani’s. A multi-generational Italian family who is welcoming their aging parents to live with their three member family.

There is to be six people living in this house who all requested specific needs. A greenhouse, a main level master bedroom, a music room, a art studio and a large kitchen were primary focuses.

Beginning with the infinity sign and staying true to the eternal enclosure symbol, this design really came to life. I incorporated flow with space planning and use natural colors connecting to biophilic design. The end result was a natural and tranquil environment connecting the family and expanding their future as people.

The lighting for the main areas of the house was intended to connect the different spaces and draw your eye up.
