A sports teams locker room is their home. This is where they prepare for competition, make memories and create an inspiring space for their past, present, and future players. This locker room design will motivate players, create a space to grow chemistry in and most importantly, honor the alumni who have paved the way for all athletes to come.
The inspiration of this design was to highlight the past and inspire the future. From highlighting goal celebrations, accolades and All- American/Hall of Fame Inductees, the design of the space is sure to wow all that enter.

Behind the design is a student athlete with a will and desire to give back to the program that shaped her. Hello, my name is Sara Aadalen and I am the lead conceptual designer in this project. As a member of the UWSP Women’s Hockey team, I have insight and knowledge on the team dynamic and key functions to the locker room space. The inspiration of this design was to highlight the past and inspire the future. From highlighting goal celebrations, accolades and All- American/Hall of Fame Inductees, the design of the space is sure to wow all that enter.
I also had the opportunity to the be the social media manager and content creator for my team. I created all the name plates, posters, graphics and posts. I truly enjoyed doing this while engaging more people and growing our social media presence. I got to be a part of something bigger than myself and I also drew more athletes in by having good graphics and designing the locker room.
